Strawberry Hill a nice small area with not too much going on, making it perfect for a relaxed visit. If you have children like myself there’s a playground, where kids can play freely and a sitting area with picnic tables each with an umbrella in the middle, creating a comfortable and shaded spot to relax, eat wood-fired pizza and enjoy a real fruit ice cream…

Lovely place, great activities for the little kids

Delicious strawberries in the beautiful Bombay hills. We’ve bought punnetts from here before but this is the first time we’ve done PYO – there was plenty to choose from! Great little helicopter playground and dirt patch for kids to play in. Good coffee and yummy waffles, what more could you ask for! Just off state highway 2 so it’s easy to access on your next road trip out of Auckland. There’s also a waterfall a short walk away but we missed it this time. We will definitely be back!

Pick the red sweet ones. A bucket of harvest to enjoy. Recommended.

Great place out of the way of the main roads and highway. Excellent day out for the family, picking strawberries and a play area for the kids while having a real fruit ice cream.

The lady owner Kate is hospitable and had a friendly chat with me. She asked if there’s any feedback to improve her business. Told her that she has already had the best strawberry field in Auckland.

If you’re in the area pop in. We enjoyed our experience picking our own strawberry’s and had the best ice-cream ever. Also thank you to the lovely lady at Strawberry Hills who saw we had a disabled child and come to offer a better access to us. We will definitely be back.

Strawberries and the ice creams are fantastic. Lovely spot to visit. I love that they have other products available made from their strawberries such as the delicious strawberry and rhubarb jam.

Totally enjoyed picking strawberries with the kids here…beautiful big strawberries and the best waffle and strawberry ice cream I’ve had for a while! A must do family activity!

Wonderful place to pickup your own strawberry and eat fresh strawberries ice cream, small but with great seat area and playground for the little ones, the view is stunning where seating this place, you must go and enjoy the fruit and view.

Absolutely gorgeous quality strawberries. Sizes are massive and delicious if you pick the deep red ones, wash and eat! Ice creams were a hit with the kids and the surroundings are lovely! So many strawberries we unfortunately didn’t spend long picking!! That’s a good thing though. Fresh strawberries are much tastier without putting in fridge FYI!
